Absolutely fantastic restaurant. We booked late afternoon for a table of 5 of us and a toddler. The lady was so helpful and really informative. There was a large table of 12 who ordered just before us so they explained there would be a small wait for food. We were in no rush so this was fine. The food was exceptional. Really tasty starters mains and desserts. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere great to eat
A lovely lunch. I had SPAGHETTI PARMESAN AND PISTACHIO, which was delicious. A lovely lady both greeted us, took our orders and served. She was friendly, knowledgeable and humbly proud of the restaurant. The handmade pasta was superb, very slightly al dente as it should be, the sauce was seasoned delightfully and was very rich and creamy. The restaurant was furnished in a rustic meets contemporary style, so felt clean and cosy at the same time. Highly recommend.
Very welcoming hosts and warm, friendly atmosphere. The food was superb, as was the wine list. We were not rushed and had a wonderful evening. We would thoroughly recommend this authentic Italian restaurant.
I love this restaurant - delicious food, friendly staff who always remember me and even my favourite order! Atmosphere and decor is lovely. Very convenient to Hailsham centre with loads of free parking nearby. I go here when I want to escape my flat for a nice dinner and drink and it’s actually cheaper than ordering pizza takeaway these days!
Romeo & Juliet restaurant is a dream come true! My friends and I stopped by in November and had an incredible evening. The woman who took our orders was extremely kind and helpful, offering our table a newly imported “pink prosecco,” which was absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal - I had the parmesan and pistachio pasta and loved every bite! I also indulged in the tiramisu for dessert, which proved to be a great decision, because it was the best I’ve had. This restaurant is definitely the hidden gem of Hailsham.
Food was very good, fresh and didn’t take long to come out. Friendly staff and tidy restaurant. Will defo return if I’m in the area again!
On holiday in South England and stayed in Hailsham. By surprise we discovered Romeo and Juliet in Hailsham. Terrific good food en very good hospitality. It is really a Masterchef.
Authentic and tasty Italian dishes there, it was a pleasure to enjoy the meals there. Family run restaurant, owners are very friendly too.
